The Dukes Roving Reporter maiden campaign is about to wrap for 2013 but not before announcing the winner of the third and final challenge!
The Reporters were asked to submit a “Postcards” segment of up to six minutes, based on the Channel Nine travel and culture show, highlighting a splash of Melbourne culture. They were given one of the four topics, Music Appreciation, Sports History, Art Appreciation and a Food Review, to mould the segment around. They were then given a mentor/talent for the piece in which they could discuss structure, content ideas, and were able to film supporting grabs.
We are proud to say the segments highlighted how far the reporters have come in both their editing and presenting skills throughout the year.
After deliberation in the judges corner Ellie was named the winner with her food review on the popular, culture strong Victoria Street featuring Chef, Food Critic and Food Tour guru, Allan Campion.
Formal proceedings for the Roving Reporter campaign finish up this week for the reporters with a well earned break over the Summer before the competition winner is announced in February.
If you are searching for some light entertainment over the break be sure to check out the blogs and video entries via License to Adventure.
