Workshop – Educating Screenagers: Pedagogical Implications for Today’s Learners

The workshop will unpack implications for the education sector, including:

  • The Gen Z worldview and how it impacts learning environments
  • Critical issues affecting learning, growth and development
  • How Gen Z communicate
  • Gen Z expectations of study, work and leadership and what this means for educators
  • Gen Z distinctive: strengths, challenges and opportunities for personal growth

Attendance will contribute 6 hours of PD addressing the following standards from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: 1.2, 2.6, 3.3, 3.5, 4.1, 4.5 & 6.2
