In the last 50 years, nearly 150,000 young Victorians have gained life and leadership skills to become empowered young leaders, involved community members and have tapped into their potential.

Our vision is to enable every young person to do their Award and succeed in life, regardless of their backgrounds, circumstances and abilities. Our long-term ambition is to reach 1 million young people over the next 50 years.

We aim to raise vital funds to reach, equip and mentor more young people from diverse backgrounds including: indigenous youth, remote and rural communities, homeless and unemployed who are unable to afford access due to social and economic disadvantage.

At this year’s Gold Award Gala, we are absolutely thrilled with over $22,000 being raised on the night, as well as over $94,000 from sponsors, supporters and in-kind support = a combined total of over $116,000!.

It was an honour to welcome the Honourable Linda Dessau AM, Governor of Victoria and Gabrielle Williams, Parliamentary Secretary for Volunteers on the night. Our MC extraordinaire, Christie Cooper did a fabulous job with our jam packed evening and with live entertainment from Headspace featuring Andrew De Silva and Nicole Wheatley, we danced the night away!

We were very fortunate to hear the inspiring story of Ivana Blekic’s Gold Award journey. One that emphasises the power of the human spirit and how one individual can make a huge impact in their community.
